To raise money for Brenna Quirin, a 2nd grader diagnosed with Birkitt's Lymphoma, 2 area restaurants are donating a percentage of their profits to her cause when customers bring in a flier on the designated days. The PTA proposes to purchase (10) iPADs
The PTA proposes to purchase (10) iPADs to be used by students in the classrooms. At a quoted price of $465 each, the PTA proposes to spend $4,650 dollars on the purchase of (10) iPADs. A Revised 2011-12 Budget, which adds a line item for this expense, listed as “Technology”, is available for viewing in the school office. The complete proposal is here.
Toy Resale: a great success
The Kingsley PTA Toy, Sport and Baby Equipment Took place Saturday, March 10 and has been helping families sell and buy genty used items for over 10 years. Parent-Teacher conferences Feb1 & 2
Parent-Teacher conferences take place Wednesday, Feb 1 and Thursday, Feb 2 in your child's classroom. Both days are regular school attendance for the students. In the school lobby on both evenings you will be able to sample Butter Braids, which will be sold during an upcoming Kingsley Fundraiser. Scholastic Book’s offers a wonderful selection of fun, engaging, and affordable books that kids want to read. Giving kids access to good books and the opportunity to choose their own books will motivate them to read more. And the more they practice, the better they’ll get. If you are all booked up during the book fair, be sure to visit the Book Fair online at www.scholastic.com/schoolbookfairs . The online book fair is available for an extended time from October 7th to October 17th. The online book fair has even a larger selection of children and adult books to purchase. All orders ship to Kingsley for free and each purchase (just like our in school book fair) benefits our school. How? ALL the profit from the book fair is used to purchase books for each classroom and LRC at Kingsley. So pass the news onto family and friends who enjoy
